Welcome to my blog. I just moved to Seattle from Portland, and I look forward to getting to know the city! I’ve been visiting frequently for the past few years, and I’ve had the chance to form strong bonds with a few places (Toulouse in Queen Anne, Diva Espresso on Phinney Ridge, Portage Bay Cafe, to name a few) but it’s time for me to branch out.
This morning I went to Columbia City for the first time, to meet with my new friend Colleen for breakfast. She suggested Island Soul – a delicious place surrounded by what seem to be other great places. Definitely breakfast haven, if you’re ever around on a Sunday morning.
I forgot to grab my camera on this trip, but next time there will be mouthwatering shots of our seafood bowls and rum chata coffees.
