About

Hi, my name is Anna Snook, and I am a storyteller. I write and take photos because it’s how I make sense of what I see in the world, and I hope to bring a bit of my sense of wonder and rumination to you. In an increasingly fast-paced world, where everyone is trying to burn the brightest, go the farthest, be the happiest, and talk the loudest, I offer this blog as a sort of bench to rest on.

While you’re here, you might learn something interesting about Seattle or the Pacific Northwest. You might discover your new favorite flower, or discover the benefits of single-tasking. You can join me in exploring my next project: an illustrated micro-history of the creek near my house.

I’m always happy to hear from readers, so feel free to write me in the comments below, or by e-mail through a.snook [at] outlook.com!

Cheers,

Anna
